It shouldn't be a shock to anyone that the Ipod introduced by Apple has become such a big hit. Skillfully designed with amazing voice quality, it has become a favorite among all of us especially the teenagers. It sounds even better when used with the earbuds that comes along with it. However, the In-Ear headphones are considered to be more comfortable by many.

The in ears are made of rubberized material which has a lot to do with the added comfort. Of course, it doesn't hurt that they provide a fine-quality surround sound as well. Most people agree that when compared to the earbuds, Apple’s In-Ear is a much better choice.

The in hear headphones offer a high-frequency sound, cut-off from the noise pollution outside. With 42 inches, Apple’s In-Ear cable is short but has enough length when linked to the iPod in-line remote cable. The main complaint, however, by people who have tried the headphones is that most of them do not fit well in the ears.

One can choose between three types of rubbery earpieces. These come in small, average and large sizes, this way one can choose the size that is a most comfortable fit. Apple’s headphones alsohave great looking storage, but beware that these headphones might cost more than double the amount of other headphones available in the market.

But, if you do spring for them it can be money well spent. In In-Ear headphones don't have any frequencies traveling out of the headphones, as is the case with ‘Ear-Bud’ headphones. The In-Ears direct the bass frequencies straightaway to the ear drums, avoiding any escape of sound which adds to the overall quality of sound.

So, in all In-Ear headphones have a better sound as well as the extended cord to make them an overall favorite. However, just like anything else, these headphones do have a drawback and that is that it lacks bass in the orchestral section.
