I have had the CX380 for 3 months now and have to say I am disappointed. The sound quality is great when I can get the jack is adjusted right on my player. I have a mp3 player, ipod nano and an iPhone and I get the same static or poor jack (could be a short in the cable) connection in all 3 players. It drives me nuts. I am shopping for a new (not Sennheiser) pair of earphones. The cable/cord has a tacky surface which I am not totally in favor of. It has often stuck on my clothing or on me and pulled the earbud out of my ear which I then have to dry off the earbud and my ear of sweat in order to get a good fit again. Then of course readjust the phone jack to get a good sound connection. The right ear piece has an extra long cable/cord which I don't find helpful or necessary. Anyway, I don't recommend the CX380.

Excellent sound quality but my left ear bud malfunctioned two months ago so they didn't
last long for the price.

UPDATE: I sent the earbuds back to Sennheiser for repair as they were under warranty. Sennheiser sent me a brand new pair and I'm very happy! I use them for my walk/jog workouts/on planes/in bed/and just in general. They are very comfortable, sound great, and stay in during exercise. Would purchase again especially with the excellent backing on this product.

I don't know much about headphones but my research led me to think these would be great headphones. They are not good for any sort of exercise, they fall out of your ear if you're doing any sort of running or jumping. The sheath that covers the jack that plugs into your music device also started to slip off after a month of use. Terrible headphones. Would not recommend except to an enemy

THESE EAR BLOGS ARE GREAT I USE THEM WHEN I RUN AND THE SOUND IS GREAT AND THE BUDS STAY IN MY EARS. I HAVE TO STAY AWARE OF TRAFFIC BECAUSE YOU DON'T HEAR IT UNTIL ITS ON YOU. I WEAR THE WIRES UNDER MY SHIRT AND MY SWEAT HAS COURSED SOME OF MY BUDS TO SHORT OUT BUT I HAVE NOT HAD THAT PROBLEM WITH THESE BECAUSE OF THEIR WATER PROVING. FOR ME IT WAS A GREAT BUY AND I WOULD RECOMMEND IT.

this is a solid ear phone. sounds okay. but definitely no where near Hi-Fi. quite comfortable to wear. it worth 20~30 dollars (which is how much i payed for), but nothing more.

a huge problem. it doesn't isolated any noise. i have no idea why it is called noise-isolation earphone, as i also own few other in-ear type of earphone that isolate noise perfectly. this pair of ear phone doesn't even TRY to block outside sound.

potential buy beware, if you are looking for "noise isolation", look elsewhere, or at least buy it from amazon for easy return policy.
